Another politician bites the poisonous Islam hating mantra. British House of Lords baroness warns Israeli audience about the threat of Islamists in UK and Africa. Lady Cox spoke of Islamist groups making massive investments in the educational system in UK in order to alter the institutions to serve their purposes. How irresponsible of Lady Cox to make such assertions when the government appointed investigator has not yet completed his investigation on this alleged plot. If members of our highest law making institution behave so irresponsibly, what hope is there for the rest? Baroness Caroline Cox of Queensbury warned about the growing threat of political Islam in Britain and Africa at an event hosted by the Yuval Ne’eman Workshop for Science, Technology and Security at Tel Aviv University and The Israeli Institute for Strategic Studies on Monday. I want to know if Baroness has really studied history before making such sweeping and baseless comments. Africa has been destroyed by the colonial projects, postcolonial western imperialism and sectarian strife stoked up by the divide and rule policy of the west. From Kenya to The Gambia and from and Zimbabwe to Egypt, Western foreign policy of supporting dictators and despots and being in bed with corrupt rulers have been the real reason behind the terrible state of Africa today. Africans have been robbed by the west for centuries. Islam had nothing to do with it. Baroness Cox needs to be taken on a tour of Africa and shown the marks of western imperialism engraved in every brick and stone of that continent. She needs to speak to the indigenous Africans to hear their grievances against the west. “Islam is using the freedoms of democracy to destroy it,” as some of its adherents try to “inhibit criticism,” said Cox, speaking at the Green House next to the university. Which planet does this Baroness live in? Didnt Egyptians vote in a recent free and fair democratic election to chose their own government and wasnt it the tacit support of the West that embolden the military in Egypt to oust an elected President? Does Baroness Cox prefer a military dictator to an elected and legitimate president? Please tell us your true democratic credentials Ms. Cox. Have the Syrian people not paid a heavy price with their blood, lives and property for desiring freedom from the Western puppet Asad and now it is the double standard of the West that has left them homeless, stateless and dead? Isn’t it the Palestinians that have been made homeless in their own homes, stateless in their own country and subjugated for the last 65 years by the western backed project called the Jewish state of Israel? Ms. Cox should be given a reality check of who is destroying democracy and who is aiding and abetting brutal regimes around the world. In England, if you criticize Islam, you are called a racist, she said. Isnt ironic that she would make these totally irrational statements in Israel, a country that has been labeled as racist by many great leaders including the late Nelson Mandela. I find it laughable that she would say that if you criticise Islam she gets called racist when the truth is if you criticise Israel you are often labeled as anti-Semitic. In fact most of the western politicians live in fear of the Israeli lobby to the extent that they even alter the truth to keep at bay the lobbyist of the Zionist state of Israel. My request to Ms Cox would be a simple one - please do not numb your conscience for a little bit if power and fame. Please take a little bit of time out of your busy schedule to study Islam and Muslims objectively. Remain true to your position and uphold the honest truth for you are a member of the most prestigious British institution called the House of Lords.
