Another reason all these lame reboots of classic TV shows are a bad idea : They put Blair Underwood in the wheelchair for the new IRONSIDE series on NBC.... and it has been CANCELED already! LMAO! How long has it been airing? A couple of weeks? Maybe a month? Theres not even enough material to issue the shit on DVD! How bad WAS it? That has to be the shortest-lived TV show ever to my knowledge, rival only to CBS 704 HAUSER, which was a distant spin-off (because of it being based on the Archie Bunker series ALL IN THE FAMILY, where 704 Hauser Street was the former Bunker residence), lasting less than 10 episodes. Honestly, these reboots are a sad attempt at paying homage to classic TV shows, but more an indicator of just how out of ORIGINAL ideas they are these days.
