Another run-a-thon update: with 63 of 85 reporting, our total is up to $3,085.75 This includes money donated by 1st grader Cole Neumann, who logged two miles at the run-a-thon and brought in $30. Way to go, Cole! Thanks to those who continue to bring in $$. Our goal is to contribute to the purchase of 80 new uniforms to be shared by XC and T&F. We also plan on purchasing a new 10 x 20 team tent to match the one we have. These tents are heavy duty and hold up to years and years of use (our 10 x 10 was purchased nearly ten years ago). They dont buckle under high wind conditions - we have seen so many cheap tents absolutely destroyed at meets over the years in high winds. These high-quality tents are not cheap - just over $1000 - but they last, and every time we see a cheap tent collapse we are thankful for our quality tents!
