Another show in the books - 1776 was, by all accounts, a huge hit! My sincere thanks to Janine Baughman for casting Caleb and I both and for making me a .......*singer* (?). I had great pleasure watching Lane Hakel, Ben Forman, and Tyler Schwanz develop their characters and was in awe each night at their dedication and talent. The lighting design far exceeded my expectations, and it was largely due to Tom Milbrodt, who programmed and ran the board. Thanks to all who came and supported us, from my friends to the strangers who just came up to me after the show to thank us. But most of all I thank Debbie, who focused lights, transported us back and forth, made cookies for the party, and - most of all - put up with me while I was doing something completely out of my wheelhouse. Sweeeet Jesus, it was fun!
