Another successful movie night at my house last night, 44 guests from my organizations---Hands of Peace, Arab Jewish Partnership, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Arab American Democratic Club. This one was very special because after we viewed the film Israel Versus Israel, one of the four featured activists in the film, Rabbi Arik Ascherman, was kind enough to come and speak to us about the importance of never giving up, of advocating for justice, peace and the sanctity of human life for Jews and Palestinians and every human being, as we are all created in the image of God. A memorable night.
