Another update on Naomi! Wednesday April 9th By Janet Culwell — 2 hours ago Hello friends, I know you most likely are really missing updates Re: Naomi so I decided I’d give you one. Here’s something to look forward to– Naomi will pop onto caring bridge sometime soon and give you a personal update! =) So stay tuned – that day is coming! She continues to be working so hard on therapy! Not to mention it’s just like school and every different therapist gives her homework…whew! Her Speech Therapist said she’d like to get 2 hours of homework out of Naomi a day. That’s a LOT! They continue to work on balance, coordination, muscle weakness,dizziness. Many cognitive issues:memory, calculations, organization, attention and focus, problem solving. Every therapy has its goals! She is doing so well and always goes above and beyond what is asked of her! She keeps her “chin up” and moves forward! Progress is visible. I see her using her crutch less inside her “home” and using it safely outside. She can ride in the car without “tossing her cookies”. Thank goodness. It’s still tough on winding roads but there is improvement though we have quite a ways to go! Walking around in stores makes her very dizzy as well – overload to those senses! Much to continue to pray for! Don’t stop. We covet your prayers and she is so thankful for them as are we! Prayer Requests: · Dizziness/motionsensitivity/brain overload · Muscle weakness – building strength · Endurancefor the LONG road · The emotional filters to continue to knit together · All paths to reconnect in her brain! · Feet and legs to feel normal: not blocks of ice or feeling numb. GOD is so good and faithful and we thank HIM daily for Naomi and her improvements! heart
