Another very cold but very productive day in Michigan! The GLMRIS Team met with state agencies and officials at Constitution Hall in Lansing. Attendees included the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Michigan DNR, fisheries agencies and Congressional offices. Sen. Debbie Stabenow and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District Commander Col. Frederic A. Drummond Jr. both spoke to the importance of continuing the path forward toward a stakeholder consensus on an alternative plan in the GLMRIS Report through dialogue- like the one had today.
