Another waste of time was the $108 million settlement of the Hewlett Packard bribery corruption case. It is CHUMP change to a corporation of this size. This teency-wincy slap on the wrist is more of a signal to continue the way your doing business, because we rarely catch you and when we do, we will tell you that you have been a wee bit naughty and your going to have 2 cents taken out of you piggy bank. This is all a sham and nobody really wants to get tough and mete out serious fines and jail sentences for those who were involved in this kind of criminal conduct. Without anyone being charged with any crimes, I cant see why the corrupt way of doing business wont continue at H-P and many other corporations. I can assure you the guys at these corporations who engage it this criminality are high fiving each other over a bottles schnapps and laughing their asses off, saying things like, didnt I tell you this settlement would be a joke, looks like it full steam ahead for business as usual, the shareholders pay guys not us f--k em, could you want a better way to do business than this, make billions and occasional pay some insignificant fine, you gotta love it. This is like the investment banks, make billions, while breaking every law imaginable and nobody gets personally fined or sent to prison. I certainly hope no one is naïve enough to believe that this kind of resolution to very serious charges is going to stop any of these corporations from continuing their scheming, contemptible, dishonest, scummy ways of doing business!!!
