Another week, another edition of the “DD: Your Double Dose of Democrat News and Politics.” We are back to full strength this week as Riley makes his return from an early Fall Break. We are also expecting to have a special guest on tomorrow as well, and we will make their identity known as soon as we confirm with them. Anyway, there is a lot going on nationally and locally and we will be discussing developments on that front. On tomorrow’s show, ENDA (Employment Non-Discrimination Act) has received enough support to prevent a filibuster in the Senate, but the Republican controlled House is dragging its feet on this issue, the “DD” asks why? Also, Tuesday was election days in states such as New Jersey, Virginia, and Texas, and we will look at the results of those races. Our Republican(s) of the week are the Republican candidates for the 4th Congressional District here in Arkansas (Tommy Moll, and Bruce Westerman) as well as the Arkansas GOP chair, Doyle Webb, for their bizarre attacks on Democrat candidate, James Lee Witt. We will then take a closer look at the 4th Congressional District Race, and examine the chances that Witt stands tomorrow. Finally, we will conclude with the Second Edition of our Great White North Segment, as there have been some strange goings on in the Toronto Mayor’s office lately. Phone lines will be open all throughout the show. If you would like to comment on any of our topics or one we are not covering, you can call (479) 979-1490. If you are shy you can post questions and comments to our Facebook page (DD: Your Double Dose of Democrat News and Politics) or to our twitter feed (@DDKUOZ). And join Cameron, Riley, and Alix tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. on KUOZ 1005 FM in the Clarksville area or online at ozarks.edu/visitors/comm/kuoz/default.asp.
