Another year,( 365 1/4) days has gone by. It is always meant to be celebrated, but some of us, its like, Man!, Im getting older. Have you noticed that when we say Year it is recognized as singular, and doesnt sound bad at all, but when you consider it in days, well, its like You will receive a lot of cash in 30 days it seems like an eternity in waiting, or how many besides me watch the micro wave counting the second and something inside makes you just sop it at the 5 sec. an retrieve your item. Time is a thing that passes every second, minute, etc. looking back weve gone another 365 + days. That then we might say, wow, a lot of days. but time passes, lets say , a day at a time. and this my friends is how we serve the Lord. celebrating another day in a Christians life! Rejoice in the fact that despite what That Day brought on, we can awaken unto another day. Times for many have been struggles, and it may have nothing to do with Temptation or any sort of a thing concerning your faith. But, it can be finances, domestic, relational or as such. These can be a strain on a person. The way you feel during and or afterwards, and it just happens to be on a church function or a Saturday night before Sunday Service and so,..you tell yourself, Im not going, Im to upset to deal with it or be around people. Been there. But I have come to understand, that if I can walk out my life just, one day at a time, like a New year I can inwardly attest that I have reason to be celebratory despite the awful day, I managed to serve another day. Yea! then begin with a daily resolution, such as, I may have issues(as we all do more or less) I refuse to let it rob me of my joy or pleasure TODAY! Just a thought. Works for me any way.
