Another year gone by. Its hard to remember it all, and its easy to forget the important things. Im going to start by listing all the major events I can think of this year and if you shared a memory with me, please feel free to share. Luis Alfaro, Brian James Polak, Nahal Navidar -Produced and directed Deep Sea. Colette La Pointe, Kara Connolly, Michelle Leila -I had a reading for Where You End... I Begin with Arts Bottega. Jonathan Munoz-Proulx, Leah Alejandra Steiner -Celebrated Christmas for the fourth time in my life. Chad Johnson, Cheri Haynes-Johnson -Went on a Cruise for the first time. Megan Alyse, Diana Vaden -Got my engagement photos taken. Kevin Vasquez -I totally deviated from a curriculum I was supposed to teach to see what my students would creatively do if given all the encouragement and permission they wanted to make a short film. (Whoops...) Totally proud of them still. Guy David Zambrano, Edward Menchavez Jr. -I began my work on Yellow Gym Rats, a docu-drama about Asian-American Men, masculinity and the gym. Laural Meade -I went 15 drafts into my Thesis Play - The End Times. I swear its one draft away from being done... Velina Hasu Houston, Paula Cizmar -Had a reading of The End Times at the New Works Festival. Wyatt Joseph Fenner, Christopher Rivas, James Leo Ryan, Tim Jo. -Got a job at Trader Joes. -Graduated from USC. -Took Summer Dance Classes... Again. For the third time. Margo Apostolos -Went to Nate Patterson and Bailey Pattersons wedding. Still the best wedding Ive been to. So happy for you guys! -Joined The Vagrancys writers group. Here Ive started on O.P. my newest play. Cort Brinkerhoff, Megan Breen -Wedding Shower. Vanessa Banta, Michael Premsrirat, Dexter Adriano -Had a reading with Pasadena Playhouse for The End Times. Seema Sueko, Nancy Keystone. -Joseph Shao and Mei Lau had another baby! My new niece Alisa! -And now... Rewrites - Applications - Wedding... Zach Mitchell, Kyle Marie, Landon Bruno. Thank you everyone for being a part of a spectacular year. So much love. I cant even begin with how overwhelmed I feel looking back on it all. Much Love
