Another year had gone by and still he didnt had anything to show - TopicsExpress

Another year had gone by and still he didnt had anything to show for it. Just another year of stalking, he thought bitterly as he stood staring at her window from under the blueberry tree. He knew she liked blueberries, he had seen her picking them from this very tree, all those times he had followed her home. He knew her favorite color was blue, how much she loved chocolates, how much she adored cats and how the curves of her smile could melt even the coldest of souls. The latter he knew from his own experience. Every time she smiled, time would stop, butterflies would start fluttering somewhere deep inside of him and his knees would shake so bad he always considered it a miracle he didnt fall down. He knew a million other things about her too. Every night he would come here, under this same tree, the scent of blueberries reminding him of her, and look at her window for hours at end, just to get a glimpse of Gods perfect creation. He sighed and looked down at the meticulously wrapped box in his hands, today was not just any other day, today was the day she had blessed the world with her presence; today was her birthday. Suddenly, he felt a trickle down his back, something was wrong. There was no light in her window tonight. He frowned, she always used to read at this time, she would get up and put the book on the shelf and then turn off the light, that was the only moment he could see her clearly, the most sacred 10 seconds of his life. But it seemed like he would not be seeing her tonight even, let alone hand her the gift and talk to her finally. He turned around, thinking how cruel the world was, and bumped straight into her and took a step back, shocked beyond any words to describe. She held out a hand for the gift and said I do hope that is for me and smiled. That was where it all started. The beginning. For Others It Was The End ! #hash
