Answering the #ALSIceBucketChallenge, I thought I would try a different approach that would have a more direct approach to patients suffering from ALS, trauma, and a number of other life-threatening issues by going to Cedars-Sinai Hospital and donating whole blood. My blood, AB+, is beneficial for so many folks and there is a real shortage of blood, friends!! My Platelets are going to be used in the NICU, so while I am happy that ALS was able to raise a ton of money with the Ice Bucket Awareness campaign, our blood supply in hospitals and clinics is dangerously low. I encourage EVERYONE to give of themselves and go give blood. #givebloodgivelife
