Answers To The Top Ten Reasons Why Jesus is not God 1) In the prophecy about the Messiah, He was suppose to speak in parables, not literally, If He said He was God plainly, would that not be literal? If that would be literal, then would that not also imply that He wasnt the true messiah? The question is, did He implied that He was? And my answer is yes He did (When He said, I am which implies Yawhe, He also forgave people their sins and many other quotations from the gospel which imperially implied that premise) and if you believe the prophecy of daniel and david (explined in Hebrews 1) then you must believe their testimony about the Messiah, which is divine. 2) We worship the Father through the son because He is our great high priest, also we appreciate what He has done, for laying down His life down for us. 3) God by definition can do what ever He desires and if He desires to come into this world as a man, why cant He? (For this reason I came..) 4)What is death? Death is separation from the physical world as a physical being or lost of relationship with God. He separated from the world as a physical being. 5) Read the Torah, did Abraham not see God? Did the elders in Exodus not see God? Why then did Jesus say that Abraham saw His days and marvelled? They saw God the Son, it is God the father that no one can see. 6) Yes, its not in the Bible but its construct is biblical, which makes it true. God the Father, God the Son (Hebrews 1) and God the Holy Spirit (Ruach Elohim: The Spirit of God) 7) So have you not constrained God in that statement. You are implying that it is impossible for God to come on earth as a man. I think that is a constrain, not the Christian claims. 8) If God is just one (literally), how can He be self sufficient? He would be lonely and cannot be Love because love demands two not one. Therefore, we will have a lonely God, who cannot be love in His nature and could not communicate before creation. I think that Kind of God is needy and not self-sufficient. 9) That is incredibly true, thats why we believe that Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forever more. 10) Of course the attributes of God depicts His nature and God will never change. Thats why I believe the Bibles claims. The Hebrew manuscripts literal translation states this, In the beginning, Gods created the Heaven and the earth. Remember, it states Gods not God. Find the literal translation of the word Elohim. The word him in Hebrews is like ies in the English, the only difference is that him is more than two whiles ies could be two or more. Therefore, What God has said in the beginning about Himself is very well explained by the Bible. Please, I sincerely believe that, if Christianity is true, then God will give us equal opportunity and evidence, sufficient for us to believe Him.
