Anti Air Port Activists want hundreds of acres of land to grow African Water Plants in Aranmula ! Their activism killed agriculture, industry and traditional industry in Kerala and now they want to hide it and so say much about the need for wet lands or a possible future draught, un-proven. How can you ever save the farm land without sustaining the farmer and farming? Only African Plants can be grown, alternate. There are no agricultural activities in Aranmula. No professional cultivation or cultivators as if you see in Palakkadu or Kuttanadu. To save themselves from the historical tragedy, what faced by all the farmers in Kerala, they sold out their barren land. Air Port promoters have bought the land legally, not by forceful capture or some other illicit manner. If the signature of supporters of this project is collected, Crores of Pravasi Malayali, Marunadan Malayali and their relatives living Kerala/Central Travancore will sign their utmost consent. All those who impartially and sincerely wish to see this backward State full employed and economically flourished too will support/sign along with them. Gopalakrishnan, Sugatha, Kurup and similar fraud who live on the daily wages “crumbed’ for their Leftist Reaction Works undertaken will not and cannot fool the public for always and they have many times lost their public credibility for their biased, untrue pseudo mindset. We can understand if the activists demand for some compensatory precautions to be strictly conditioned for the project realization like measure for saving the heritage (if any), making sure the water availability creating large scale rain water collection systems, sustaining the “Koi Thodu” stream through some underground tunnel , restricting large scale constructions and concrete structures in the Aranmula locality to keep it as a model village, measures promoting village and farm tourism, promoting high tech cultivation that require very less land usage. But objecting the project as such is offensive, un justifiable, vested and intentional and the time and ages will not forgive them.
