Anti-vaccination groups have pushed a scare campaign on the public for years now, claiming that vaccines harm, not help kids. I was astounded to learn that the whole thing that started this whole scare campaign was a fraud. Its in this video. Have a look. Basically, the study which started it all was completely falsified. And now that the organisation is making MILLIONS off the deaths of thousands of children a year, it keeps going strong. Its stupid. But the idea of not vaccinating still goes strong. And its already killed hundreds of kids. The question comes to mind. Why do people not know this info?? Well its because: 1) Anti-vac campaigns are pretty powerful and keep providing funding to enhance their agenda. Either by accident or, more likely, purposefully, theyve created a whole conspiracy theory around the idea that the government is trying to cover something up or make people sick on purpose. And they invest millions into propagating this idea that convinces those who dont know that theyre helping people, not killing them. OR 2) There is not enough conversation between scientists and laymen about why things are necessary and what different studies mean (or the studies dont get publicised enough) because doctors/scientists dont communicate well enough with the wider public and the public cant get access of easy to process information. Likely, its a combination of both. The question now becomes: How do we fix it?
