Antwanette Weaver I have a two part question. First, I stopped relaxing because I was diagnosed with seborrhea and felt the relaxer was determinal to the health of my scalp and hair. I have a bald area near my crown. Hair seems to start to grow in and then it will become red and itchy and come out again. Are there any suggestions on how I can encourage my scalp to heal and for hair to grow continuously. Secondly, my last relaxer was January 2012 and I BC in July 2012. I have very thick hair and it is growing well except for the area I mentioned. I wear twists 90% of the time and twist outs or braid outs the remainder. The problem is although I see growth, I am losing quite a bit to trimming because my hair is extremely dry and the ends split frequently. Any suggests on how to prevent this?
