Any Google Chrome users out there fed up with pages loading slowly? If so heres a simple fix. When you open a new tab look at the bottom left of the window and if a brief message using the word proxy briefly appears thats whats slowing it down - and its really annoying. So do the following... a) click the Chrome menu bar at the top (i.e. the three stacked lines) b) click on settings c) at the bottom of the new window click on show advanced settings d) scroll down until you find the button marked change proxy settings and click it e) in the new window click on LAN settings f) remove the check mark against Automatically detect settings g) close all boxes by clicking OK With any luck you like me will find that everything now happens at a decent speed.
