Any IT expert, please make it clear, is it true or false Question: Sir is providing free WiFi is safe in legal terms? Many people / visitors ask me for WiFi can I allow them even if when I am seeing them for first time? Answer: Come to question of legality. Free wifi is given in Trains, ship, Airports, does not make them liable for any crime. If ur wifi is open and someone use it wrongly, you will no doubt be questioned as suspect, but not be put in the list of criminals. Ofcourse an Internet Cafe has separate instructions to hold the particulars of the person who come to him to use net because systems are also of cafe. Issue is that the IP address of computer system is also recorded and if found that which system was used to communicate, he is considered guilty. So do not allow your system on safe side, but wifi can be used by multi-user without any liability on wifi subscriber Details I do not know but simply this much I can convey. Any IT experts can make it clearer
