Anybody know David Romana (57) or Michael Ashford (42) of Jersey arrested off Martinique with a boatload of cocaine? Other reports suggest that an 81 year old man and his 57 year old wife were arrested on the Swedish built yacht which bears the name of a Swedish business and has circumnavigated the world under assumed previous owners...rebuilt in Poole recently the vessel is probably worth about £150,000....but various reports also refer to a controlling consortium of London based land owners with Caribbean connections suspected of large scale avoidance of Mansion Tax...no doubt JFSC have been keeping tabs on the whole business for months and the Islands coffers will be swelled with reward money to buy yet more toys for the SoJP or green zone land in the near future....were David and Michael just delivering the yacht perhaps?
