Anybody know how to overcome anxiety/ocd behaviors? I know its sort of an odd topic to throw on here but Ive had ocd behaviors such as skin picking, nail biting, and rubbing my eyebrow constantly as young as being 5 yrs old and Im now soon to be 20. Many of my friends notice the eyebrow thing and I want to overcome it and find the root of my anxiety. Its gotten to the point where I do it in my sleep. I do know that Ive had these bizarre behaviors since childhood and when I was 5-8 Id obsessively write and draw pictures in the air with my finger lol Im curious as to where that all started and how to overcome it since I now do it unknowingly. Its also an emotional burden and embarrassing. I dont talk about it but do need some solid advice and support. If Im not picking my skin, biting my nails, touching my eyebrow, I catch myself biting my cheek or tapping a table or shaking my foot. I dont pull out my hair either just rub the hair, its like I cant sit still without bugging at my body.
