Anyone actually note the law here? It says for entertainment or business. Basically any monitor. So if a GPS being a monitor is OK and not for business or entertainment, then what is wrong with using Google Glass for GPS reasons... or when was the last time you looked into a Police Car... they have a huge monitor, that displays information. Is that information for business or are they just exempt from the law, of NO MOTOR VEHICLE SHALL... The other question is, what if it was on, and she was recording where she was driving?? Is that a violation of the law? Reason for the question is, again, police cruisers have a dashboard cam, and if she was recording where she was driving, that could be used for proof to her insurance, if she were in an accident. They sell window cams, that have a video monitor on them that allows you to see what is in front of you, and then other devices, allow you to place a cam on the rear of your vehicle to see what is behind you... So the question again, is what defines entertainment, what defines business... is it ONLY IF the MONITOR CAN show entertainment or business or is it the fact that it exists? And then she was sighted merely on the grounds of that she was wearing it and the question is whether the device was on or not, since it was for having it on that would be the the alleged violation, when she says it was not on? She should fight it in court, and make the court define the terms of this law. Many states are not as stupid as CA, so they dont have this law, but she should make them define it and create case law for the future. What do you think?
