Anyone else following the Twitter shit-show that is #OpKKK? Anonymous has hacked (at least) two accounts owned by the KKK, and they are slowly releasing tweets and messages and other private information on KKK members. Case in point, the attached image of a Klansman using two lynched boys as a swing. Anonymous shared not only the image but also the Facebook profile of the person who posted it AND the names of the users friends who liked the picture. Ill be honest. I have mixed feelings here. On one hand, f*ck the KKK and all of their hateful history and modern-day bigotry. No question about that. And since they are only powerful when they are lurking like cockroaches in the shadows, exposing them is a good thing. But... I struggle with Twitter not stopping this. If my personal account was hacked and I reported it, I would expect them to shut it down, not let the hacker continue to post taunting messages and tweets all day. So... not sure what to make of how I feel. I wish it was an easy call for me. Thoughts?
