Anyone else think the media perpetuates the racism thing to fuel ratings with sensationalism? I just watched (under duress) a CNN special called Black and Blue (I think), that put forth the idea that cops working outside their neighborhoods (as most do) just need to get to know the black residents better than they do. Bullshit. COPS NEED TO BE MORE PLUGGED INTO ALL THE COMMUNITIES THEY POLICE!! I just maybe 3 months ago said that Rio Linda (mostly a caucasian area) needs a greater police presence, from the kinds of cops who care and get to know the people they protect. Does racism exist? Yes. Does police brutality exist? Yes. Stop drawing conclusions that dont need to be made. Stop blaming race or ignorance: those things exist!!! They will always exist!! Im so fed up with the media, the perceived outrage over the way things are - and their continual efforts to mindfrick us. Stop being tools people. Think. For. YOURSELVES!!!
