Anyone in my approximate climate (SW Idaho -- its 1 F - 23 F today): Do you mind sharing how much it costs to heat your house? We are in the process of installing a pellet stove. Our electric furnace is really not able to keep up with this colder weather. When the thermostat says 70 F, the room temperature is about 63 F. Last winter we had bills of $600 - as high as $900. Electric bill includes other electricity, maybe $70.
