Anyone know of anyone that might need to hire a drywall taper and mudder? Its going to be a little while till my projects at Habitat are ready to move forward, so its only logical to begin shopping for work opportunities in the trades, anywhere I can find them. During the remodel of Habitats Bellingham store, my skills earned me some respect and some professional construction work credentials. Right now, Im actually in the best position I have ever been in, to be able to find lots of decent paying work. In particular, I repaired a substantial quantity of rotten drywall, and also did a whole lot of drywall taping and mudding, at the Bellingham store location. Ive never been trained by a professional drywaller, but have gotten to be fairly good at it, over the years, in my home repair and remodeling projects. On the store remodel, though, I got to be really good at it, and even improved my speed and efficiency substantially. Will be working on upgrading my resume tonight. Since I have a position with Habitat now, it will be easy to find other work, to fill my schedule.
