Anyone remember a line in an old song, Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio, our nation turns its lonely eyes to you... I think we today need heroes. Biblical heroes. Where have you gone; Charles Spurgeon, John Wesley, Jonathan Edwards, Hudson Taylor; David Livingstone, Mother Theresa, etc. D.L. Moody once said; The world has yet to see what God can do with and for and through and in and by the man who is fully and wholly consecrated to Him. I will try my utmost to be that man. Maybe today is the day for the one reading this to seek what Moody has said. Maybe me. I am going away on a Mens Advance (not retreat...LOL), in Michigan and it is a time away from the daily grind to seek the Lord with other men. But maybe, it is a time for me to fully consecrate my life to the Lord like never before. This IS NOT about some earthly desire to be known, but to see what the Lord can do through an ex-drug addict. This is our time as Christians in a vile nation to rise above the enemies attacks and become all what the Lord has called us to do. Rom 12:1, 2.
