Anyone remember the egg hatchery on 82 hw on Ark side..?They would sell chicks for 10 cents ...I was 8 years old and walked down after asking my mom if I could get a chick... I can still see the look of shock on her face when truck backs in driveway rolled up door and starts dumping barrels of chicks in yard...( just so happens they were loaded with the older chicks they were about to haul to dump..my tender 8 yr old heart asked if I could buy them all for my 10 dollers)..yellow fluffy feathers as far as Icould see!
