Anyone that knows me knows that I dont believe in love, and although pessimistic I believe if you give people enough time they will screw you over so naturally I have always had my doubts about this thing called the fraternal bond because how can a seemingly stranger become my brother in a split second. Had this been a regular stranger it may have taken weeks or even months to be considered a good friend and probably years to be considered a brother. These last four days I took a step in a different direction as I immersed myself in what I can only attempt to describe as an overwhelming amount of brotherhood which continues rack my mind as I try to understand something that defies all natural or even scientific laws. And in this non judgmental free environment, in the best and blurry moments, there was always this unnatural phenomenon drawing you in more and more. Since returning, I keep getting the question How was it?, and the only response to that is...its like being in this unimaginable world where you can only hope to put in words when you leave. I just want to thank our central office, arch chapter, volunteers, and the many brothers I had the pleasure of meeting for making this an unforgettable experience and new direction that I will hold closely to my heart for the rest of my life.
