Anyone that receives their child support onto an e-quick pay debit card expect a delay on your payments being loaded as normal. They had stated that the goverment shut down would not affect things like this. This is not true my payment was to be posted today when not receiving it as usual I contacted e-quick pay customer service and was told to expect a delay and if card is not loaded within 72 Hours to contact local child support agency to get check issued. This is ridiculous considering child support offices are working as usual posting payments on time this card should not be effected in any way. They proceeded to tell me individuals that have their payments direct deposited into their personal bank account will have no delays this will be my new route. I have a hard enough time getting my ex to pay child support so I surely dont need someone holding onto it any longer. Point of this message is many things the president said would not be affected is. Good luck to everyone. Hopefully this shut down will be corrected and lifted soon.
