Anyone that says they are a “Bible believing” Christian scares me. All Christians (OK maybe just 99.9%) believe the Bible. What they seem to mean is that their interpretation is the only possible interpretation. Therefore everyone else doesn’t believe the Bible. Let’s all just raise our hands and be honest. We all read the Bible through a lens… We are all biased to read our theology into the Bible. Until we admit that we can never begin to truly interpret the Bible.
