Anyone that sees my posts every day can pretty much tell Im an animal lover. I do love animals. To me, they are like people that just cant talk. I have a time hard believing they dont have souls. In fact, Im pretty sure they do. Anyway, I saw a video today that one of friends posted. It was so awful that I didnt want to share it but I think its something we all need to know about. The animal cruelty that was shown in this video was horrific and it broke my heart to watch it. It shows how cruelly cows get treated at slaughter houses. The video said that it was a Burger King slaughter house, but I cant confirm that. These men were just beating and maiming these poor helpless, docile creatures for their own sick entertainment. Im not vegetarian. I have been assuming all along that animals that provide the meat that I eat have been killed humanely. Now Im going go have to find out for myself how wide spread this animal abuse is. If animals are suffering like this everywhere in every slaughter house or processing facility, I swear Ill quit eating meat. If anyone has any inside knowledge about this, and knows if cattle is being treated humanely or not, I would appreciate your input.
