Anyone understand the airline industry? I have to get to Chicago this week. To fly from Ottawa to Chicago (2hr flight) return will be about $2000, unless I go for 2 stops which would make it am 8 hr trip each way. If I do that, it is only $1000. Or, I can book a flight from Ottawa to San Diego with one stop in Chicago (and just get off there) for $850. What? Now to figure out if they would let me get on the return flight in Chicago without having started in San Diego.
