Anyone who gets grumpy with airport security will be able to empathize with Ted. This 6-year-old guy is clearly a family pet. He was out wandering on 10/10, minding his own business, when someone scooped him into an ACC van and dumped him out into a nightmare. Ted was poked, prodded and stripped of his dignity during an initial medical exam, all of which put him in a bad mood. This colored his response to being poked with a plastic hand, which in turn prompted the ACC to saddle him with a New Hope rating. Just like all those people at the airport, Ted was only wanting to go about his business and get back home. Instead, he now sits on death row and will be killed tomorrow for the crime of being a cat the ACC no longer wants to feed. He is probably a nice enough companion when he is treated the right way; if a rescue partner does not step up for him tonight, we will never know.....
