Anyone who has been in CYO: I have to share this: on Wednesday when my mom was filling up with co2 and didnt know what was going on, the nurse asked her what year it was. She said 1993. Very significant year because her home flooded. Then the nurse asked mom where she was. The answer should have been Mercy Hospital. Her answer: I am at the Christian Youth Orchestra. Many have shared with me how much a part of CYO she was over the years, well you all were such an important part of her life, that when her mind went to a comfortable spot, it was CYO. She treasured those times. Even when she stopped coming, she asked about rehearsals. She loved you all.
