Anyone willing to make a less fortunate nursing home resident feel a little special this joyous season can gladly donate to the gift drive...I am starting to collect items and will get it all bagged up and delivered on Christmas Eve. Some items that are needed are: *Mens and ladys deodorant, body wash, lotions, powder *snack cakes...(Little Debbie, store brand) *Small bags of chips *jello pudding snack packs *soft drinks! cans or bottles(no 2 liters) *Diabetic snacks(diet or sugar free) *Packs of socks (mens and ladys) *Pajamas, gowns, t-shirts or sweat suits(I will post sizes later) *Bananas We try to fill gift bags with supplies and goodies for the ones with no family to periodically bring them special things. As well as have extra snacks and fruit for every resident that would like a treat for the holiday. Anybody willing to help by donating to this special cause will be greatly appreciated.
