【Ape…it will become the hub of local activities】 gaahaas junk workshop world 吉里吉里の夜に火を灯し続けてきたCafe ＆ Bar Apeも震災復興計画の盛り土対象区域になっているため、移転しなくてはならない状況だと聞いたのが今年の夏。ついに、一時閉店前のサヨナラ会の告知がされました。 Cafe & Bar Ape FBページに詳細あります 一方で、新しい取り組みも始まっています。 Ape Trekと名付けられたこのツアーは、シーカヤックで吉里吉里の海をめぐるというもの。まるで自転車感覚で、リアス式海岸の特徴的な海岸線や美しくも険しい無人島、野島を間近で見る事が出来る。 こんな風に、地元に住んでいる人、漁師などにとっては当たり前すぎて今まであまり注目されていなかった、けれども外の人にとっては魅力的で価値のあることを再発見して誰にでも体験できるような形を作り、発信する取り組みというのはApeの皆さんだからこそできることなんだと思うのです。 Apeのさらなる発展と復活を願っての、エントリー。 写真だけでも、どうぞ。Apeのオフィシャルサイト、Ape Trekのページも必見です(^_^)/ 引き続き、応援。 ・・・ Ape celebrated its second anniversary October 2013. Ape became the place where people could meet casually and has been indispensable for the community. However, it has to move in the near future. Ozuchi town office had discussed how to design the new town after the tsunami with local people. Their basic thinking is that houses should not be built in the area that was hit by the tsunami. This is because if another tsunami strikes, the same destruction will happen again; and another tsunami will surely come someday. As this region is composed of a special terrain called rias coast, there are only a few high and flat places available to build houses. So, Ozuchi town has proposed the following plan; 1. Build a seawall 12.8m in hight 2. Raise the ground level of the building site. Ape currently is located at the building site. Thats why Ape will be closed in December 2013.
