Apparently, my number is 8. So here are 8 things you may not know about me! Like this post and I will give you a number! 1. I grew up on a farm most of my pre-teen and teenage years. 2. I am the oldest of 4 children. 3. I retired at age 42. 4. I learned to drive my dads 12 ft. boat w/25 hp. Johnson motor when I was 8 and his International Scout w/manual transmission when I was 12. 5. My first real job was grooming dogs. 6. I am 1/2 Canadian, my father was from Ashcroft, B.C. until he worked for the railroad, moved to the US and married my mother. 7. I went to ~Disneyland~ in 1974. 8. I saw all the good bands back in the 70s. Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, JethroTull, Kansas, Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper, Allman Bros., Ted Nugent, Robin Trower, David Bowie, Heart, Queen, George Thourogood, Rush, Steve Miller Band, Elton John, Supertramp, Eagles, Doobie Bros., Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Rod Stewart just to name a few. It was just what my generation did...the highlight of my youth!
