Apparently this town council has concluded that the Christian faith is weakening in the face of science, agnosticism, atheism, secularism, humanism, and for other reasons of which they have yet to think. They have determined to open their meeting by calling upon many of the worlds religious gods, including Allah the Muslim name for god. But, not on the name of Jesus or the Christian God of the Bible. Instead of a prayer of humility, they have made a mockery of faith itself and the importance it has in a civilized cultures throughout the world. The ending is really strange, And so we pray, so what? But, there is an ending of the video that I found quite ironic. When repeating the Pledge of Allegiance of the United States of America....they all said, one nation under God.
