Appeal Court dismisses Section 34 appeal; says Opposition also guilty of oversight. - the fact is that the OPPOSITION quite rightly did NOT file an AFFIDAVIT in this case, nor challenge AGs assertions that the WHOLE of Parliament was guilty of lack of oversight - NOR COULD they have done, without risking UNDERMINING the States entire case against Piarco conspirators. (The Court cannot be expected to take into account statements not seen.) - unfortunately,now that the COURT has given its VERDICT its quite hard to object against it without appearing to UNDERMINE the respect for the INTEGRITY of that Institution.
