Appeal From Cleveland Police: Burglary at DIY Store in Billingham Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a DIY store in Billingham overnight last night, Wednesday 6th into Thursday 7th August. The burglary happened at Leakes DIY store on Mill Lane whilst the premises was closed. A quantity of cash was stolen along with a small, red metal cash box, which potentially could have been discarded in the local area. Anyone with information or anyone who may have come across a small red cash box discarded in the area is asked to contact DC Lee McKinnell from Stockton Volume Crime Team on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
