Appeal to all friends : We all know that Kashmir’s tragedy is a national a disaster; NDRF, Army are trying their best to help the people of Kashmir but that’s not enough so it’s time for us to volunteer for our friends from the valley. Assem Foundation - aseemfoundation.org/ ( Pune based NGO who is working for people of Kashmir since last many years – lead by Sarang Gosavi) has planned to adopt two villages from south Kashmir named as Samthan and Chokura. As per the discussion with localities and Army from valley; we need to supply following major items on priority: 1. Basic Medicines ( majorly for Typhoid, Malaria, Cholera etc) 2. Solar lamps 3. Water bottles 4. Water Purifiers First troop of volunteers will be travelling from Pune to valley on 19th September with the consignment. I request everyone to help Assem foundation by actual donations or by providing any of the above four mentioned items.
