#AppleBees is the best for #veterans day! For those who told me how does things are done in PR with taxes in my previous post. I guess its all about the business. Their menu was pretty honoring our day vs #Chillis which didnt even had one. They had 7 different plates when Chillis had 5. The best part is that they didnt charge us taxes for the free plates we ate!!! Not like Chillis. Conclusion, AppleBees ROCK! I will recommend them 100 times before any other restaurant in Puerto Rico for veterans day. #Dennys said that they are a franchise and the TV commercial offering free meal for vets day didnt applied in P.R. A vet costumer gave a speech really upset because when he was living heard a cook saying, if they want free food, they can go to #Chillis. Everyone applauded at the 5 minute speech to the crowd after he finished. I wished I had a chance to recorded this fellow veteran during his speech, but I was really into his argument speechless. Today my brother Omar Caballero and I spent a great day eating outside thanks to this promotion. We bought other things also tipped accordingly to the plates amount. We just wanted to enjoy the offer. Isnt about the free food. Its about going out with my Infinite Hero T-Shirt and see others with the Afghanistan hat, Iraq patches, Korea stickers, etc. enjoying with their families and talk about how we got there. Plenty other stories talk about how those still alive enjoying their families. Im glad I have mine. Thanks God for this.
