Applications for NYU Alternative Breaks are now available! Each year,NYU Alternative Breaks sends over 200 students across the country and the world to serve communities in need through direct service over winter and spring break. Alternative Breaks provide students the opportunity to participate in a year-long experience exploring social, political, and cultural dynamics of a community. Through learning and practice, students explore the theory of integrating service, education, and reflection to create meaningful change in their communities.
