Appreciation Award @ Mathaam Al Araby. MHCT is proud to announce that Matha’am Al Araby (Middle Eastern Restaurant) based in TESCO Seberang Jaya, Penang, has been conferred the Halal & Hygiene Appreciation Award 2013/14. Mr. Sani Araby (Chairman Al Araby Groups) accompanied by team member from Matha’am Al Araby (which was recently certified Halal by JAKIM), received the Appreciation Award from Haji Abdul Rafek Saleh - Executive Director MHCT / International Halal Integrity Alliance Ltd (IHIA) on 1st August 2014. In the certification of the Malaysian Halal Consultancy & Training Agency - MHCT appreciation status, the audit process covers all aspects of preparation, processing, cooking, handling, storage, delivery, cleaning, sanitation, disinfection and staff personal hygiene practices. The Halal Auditor will only confer the status when he is fully confident and satisfied beyond any reasonable doubt, on every aspects of the examination. This has been the case at Matha’am Al Araby (Middle Eastern Restaurant). Mr. Sani Araby, said: This “Appreciation Award” will not only demonstrate our continued commitment to our existing customers currently being served from our TESCO Seberang Jaya unit, but also provide great opportunity to explore extending our services to other area in Penang Island and beyond………..
