The role will include sourdough bread and pastry production. The successful applicant will be a motivated and customer focused individual who desires a career in the baking industry. This is a perfect opportunity to learn the skill of Artisan Baking from highly trained French bakers. The prospective apprentice will be willing to work on flexible shift hours including nights and have a passion to learn. Duties and Responsibilities: Measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to a recipe. Preparing and baking bread loaves and rolls, buns, and pastry goods, including; kneading, maturing, cutting, molding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods. The forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products To constantly check that the correct quantities are being produced for each order Measures flour and other ingredients to prepare batters, dough, fillings, and icings. Be vigilant about using exact measurements and paying strict attention to timing. it is essential to be organized and on top of the assigned work at all times. Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the bakery and learn the discipline to follows safety regulations.
