Apprentice Launceston Base Apprentice Launceston Base Sharp Airlines operates from South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania with a large variety of RPT, Charter and FIFO contracts. Sharp Airlines currently operates six SA227 Metroliners and we also operate two C441 Conquests, operate two citation jets and small piston twin and single aircraft fleet. Sharp Airlines is going through a significant and exciting restructure and is currently looking for an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person, who is happy to work a range of hours and days, and are looking to be a part of a fast growing and successful airline in our Part 145 approved maintenance facility in Launceston Tasmania. Some Travel at short notice may be required. Position Requirements The Apprentice is responsible to the Senior Base Engineer/L.A.M.E. and GME. The Apprentice must carry duties as requested by the supervisors. Ensure that the work place is kept tidy and free from unnecessary hazards. Ensure that workshop equipment is maintained in accordance with manufactures data and operating in the correct manner. Store and work shop procedures are carried out in accordance with this manual. Personal Requirements Able to work accurately, neatly and without supervision; Sound organizational skills; Able to work under pressure and meet time-critical deadlines; Ability to present an appropriate image for the organisation; Motivated and enthusiastic attitude; Prepared for hard work and sometimes long hours; Computer literate.
