They are an independent and innovative company and are widely acknowledged as the world experts in rope holding. They are looking for an Apprentice Stores Person to join their busy team. This role requires high levels of concentration alongside honesty, reliability and a high standard of workmanship. Duties Based in the Warehousing and Storage department, you will: Kitting of components ready for assembly by product team Restocking and monitoring levels of sundry items Handling goods inward receipts and proper storage of those receipts Accurate recording of components receipts using our ERP System Ensuring stock is kept in appropriate storage conditions Correct labelling of components Processing components for further work Ensuring relevant components are printed Rubbish disposal & Recycling of packaging Annual Stock Check Reporting quality issues Cover for any other area as required Minimum Qualifications Applicants MUST have a C or above in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent or be able to demonstrate the ability to obtain these levels of Literacy and Numeracy. Friday : 8.00am till 2.00pm with no lunch break but one 10 minute tea break to 10am and one 15 minute tea break at 12pm Staff are expected to arrive 15 minutes before start time Salary £4.98 per hour. Training You will be undertaking a Level 2 Warehousing and Logistics Apprenticeship through Island Training at the Isle of Wight College and must complete the required coursework and assessments as part of your Apprenticeship.
