Approaching the end of the first week of my e84 day challenge, and Id like to share how its going..... Challenge: Eliminate prescription nerve blocker. Every time I take it I feel like I am poisoning myself, and its purpose is short lived. Relief lasts only 4-6 hours. Result: One week of Limitless in its place, and NO recurring symptoms thus far! Challenge: Breakfast...the most important meal of the day! Result: A morning shake jump starts my metabolism, fuels my body and mind, and eliminates the need for daily vitamin supplements. I have been prescription free for a week now, with no negative effects. Challenge: No more Starbucks. No more Gatorade. No more Crystal Light. They are expensive and unhealthy. Result: fueling my body with a natural green tea extract. I have the energy I need to get through the afternoons, and Im not spending $5-10/day to do it. I dont get the jitters like from energy drinks, and I dont crash and burn like when coffee wears off. Challenge: Increase physical activity Result: I have been exercising regularly (2-3 xs/wk) for years, but because I have more energy and focus, I want to focus on increasing balance, flexibility, and strength. These results wont be immediate, but I have started classes at the YMCA that are free with our family membership. Unintended results: By increasing my physical activity, I am naturally tired at the end of the day. I took a sleep aid just once this week, when usually it is almost every night. (I did not make it an official goal, because I never thought it would be humanly possible and have been relying on them for almost 10 years.) I realized this morning that I have not hit the snooze button in days, which means I am sleeping better. Also, I weighed in at the gym today and Im down 2 pounds! Weight loss is not a goal, but getting my waistline back is. All this in just ONE WEEK!!!!! I cant fathom how it can get any better. It is just amazing!
