Approved Pattern... Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. - Rom 12:2 Friends, in every generation God has a pattern that all of His people must follow. His first tabernacle was according to the pattern He wanted, and not as Moses wanted; as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, “See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” (Hebrews 8:5 NKJV) When His pattern was followed, then His glory appeared over the tabernacle. • For this present dispensation of grace, God has shown us the one and only approved pattern He wants all things to be built and done, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” (Matthew 17:5 NKJV) > Now Jesus is the approved Pattern that God divinely instructed us to follow, for He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. (Colossians 1:15-20 NKJV) • God did not send His Son to redeem us so that we continue in the same pattern the people before Him Jesus of Nazareth. Neither Adam, Abraham, Moses or any other prophet before the death and resurrection of Jesus is our pattern to follow. Thats why when Jesus began His ministry He said to everyone He calls, “Follow Me, and I will make you...” (Matthew 4:19 NKJV) > God found fault with everything from Adam to John the Baptist, and He sent His Son to show us the approved pattern of God today (Heb 8). And the Son of God Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV) • Our spiritual making is only found in Jesus, For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly...Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. (Romans 5:6, 9-11 NKJV) > The law and the prophets with all their activities did not reconciled us back to God. No religion nor any religious leader reconciled us back to God. But Jesus alone did, For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again...Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, (II Corinthians 5:14-15, 17-18 NKJV) • Jesus did not only reconcile us back to God, but He gave us the ministry of reconciliation for us to follow His own pattern in all things we do in His name on earth; And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV) • Religious leaders under strange influence has succeeded in deceiving many people to accept mixed pattern in the service of God. They mix the law with grace the message of the cross. + They ignore the voice of present truth that says, “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. (Acts 17:24-25 NKJV) + They ignore the words of Jesus about the true worshipers when He said, “..,believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father...the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:21, 23-24 NKJV); Rather they insist on going to the mountain or temple to worship God on particular day(s) as the approved pattern. • We are saved, called and sent to continue looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2 NKJV) > Take some time to look at religion or church you are attending, and compare it with the life and teachings of Jesus, coupled with the examples of the early church recorded in your New Testament bible. Are they following the approved pattern God Himself commanded us in this present dispensation through His Son? • You may say it doesnt matter how one worship so long its to God, but you are wrong because the Lord Himself says, Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV) > Your priests and pastors are happier so long you dont read your bible and ask questions about the staggering difference between what they taught you and that of Jesus and early church in the bible. • Falsehood is accepted as approved pattern today, because many priests and pastors falsely claimed that there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written; But they ignore the truth the same John said earlier that truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. (John 21:25; 20:30-31 NKJV) > John himself said, these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name; So compare your churches with the written church in your New Testament bible to know whether they are after the pattern of Christ. • If your church is paying and collecting monetary tithes following Mal 3:8-12; if your church is praying to/for dead Mary, dead saints and angels; if your church is demanding you attend their services or program as the people before Jesus did; if your church carries or bows before any form of image or pictures; if your church is celebrating Christmas and Easter; if your church is selling the free message of God by any means; if your church is ordaining titled men and women; if your church is asking poor people to sow seed faith for financial miracle; if your church is based on the mixed law and faith, then its not according to the approved pattern of God for today. Its conforming to the pattern of this world, and not after Christ. • Let no one deceive you any more, nor be you followers of men; pick up your bible and ask the Holy Spirit to help you know the present truth; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32 NKJV) > If truly you have been born again and longs to know the truth, then take Jesus yoke/teachings upon you and learn from Him, for He is gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls (Read Matt11:28-30. Col 2:8-10). Are you willing to Separate yourself from every religious and spiritual bondage? - 1Cor 7:23. Gal 5:1. + Friends, my honest prayer for you is that you conform not to this world of religion and politics, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind; and that God Almighty will make you be able to test and approve what is truly God’s good, pleasing and perfect will for today in Jesus Name!
